The 26th Annual Spearfish Canyon Half Marathon Event will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012.
Healthy lifestyles and supporting children in need; can you think of any better reason to run? Enjoy your day with a walk/run down beautiful Spearfish Canyon!
Pre-registration is STRONGLY recommended. T- shirts are on a first come - first serve basis. Early Registration concludes on June 23rd. Registration from June 23rd-July 13 will be $50 for the half-marathon. Registration on the day of the event will be $65 for the Half Marathon and $35 for the 5K event. Registration on July 14 will take place in the parking lot of the Spearfish City Park from 5:45-6:30 am. Participants will be bused to the starting line.
The 5K and the Half Marathon will be chip timed by Mtec Results, giving immediate and accurate results to ALL participants.

The Spearfish Holiday Inn is our sponsor hotel and is offering a 20% discount to Spearfish Canyon Half Marathon & 5K Run/Walk event participants ($119.99) plus shuttle service to the park. The number to call for reservations is 1-800-999-3541.
Last year, we had a record turnout to support children in the Northern Hills. This event is an annual fundraiser, which benefits the abused and neglected children through the Northern Hills Area CASA Program. Your help is needed again this year! Stay healthy and help children, that is what this event is all about!
